This project involved recommissioning an obsolete, abandoned water treatment plant for the city of Asheville, NC.  Improvements and upgrades  included new filter media, installation of orifice plates on the rewash pipelines, replacement of the filter surface sweep system with a new backwash system, refurbishment of the existing 10,000 gallon caustic storage tank and 1,000,000 gallon clearwell, and upgrading the main plant control system.
