have formed a little corporation and will mail our application for charter to
Raleigh tomorrow. The name of the corporation will be Hickory Construction
Company." R.V.Moss, May 16, 1941 These were the simple beginnings of
Hickory Construction Company. In the next 59 years Hickory Construction has
consistently raised the standards of the construction industry. We have always
been on the cutting edge of new construction and management techniques yet we
have never wavered from our commitment to our customers. |

Construction grew in prominence throughout the Southeast as a general
contractor specializing in industrial, commercial and public works
construction. Thousands of projects have been completed under his guidance.
